USA today: West Virginia ready to go with scoring flow in Big 12

The goal, West Virginia’s Dana Holgorsen said, is not defensive dominance, but something more realistic. As the No. 7 Mountaineers make their long-awaited Big 12 debut, it seems they’re going to fit right in.

When No. 24 Baylor gets to Morgantown on Saturday, many expect a shootout — apparently including Holgorsen.

“If you think we’re just gonna shut them down, you’re nuts,” he said this week. “You’ve got to line up and keep playing no matter what. … You’ve got to get out there and make a few stops.”
